Things to do

Visit the Lost City
In the centre of a volcanic valley surrounded by the dun slopes of the Pilanesberg Mountains, a wilderness wonderland rises from the dust. Shimmering in the African sun, the fantastic Sun City Resort could be mistaken for a mirage. In reality, it is a vision realised through a multimillion-dollar investment and one man’s unshakable faith in the religion of tourism – South African hotel prodigy Sol Kerzner.

Kruger Park game drive
The world-renowned Kruger National Park has 2-million hectares of an unrivalled diversity in life forms. It is a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and home to an impressive number of species, e.g. 336 species of trees, 49 species of fish, 34 species of amphibians, 114 species of reptiles, 507 species of birds and 147 species of mammals including the Big Five.

Spionkop Reserve game drive
The Spioenkop (Spionkop) Dam Nature Reserve offers a serene game reserve environment with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and a wide variety of antelope to name a few. The birdlife is prolific.

Pilanesberg Reserve game drive
It is believed that where the Pilanesberg Reserve now stands was, 1 200-million years ago, a volcano higher than Mount Kilimanjaro (5 895m). The Pilanesberg Reserve is in the Bojanala region of the Northwest Province. Set in the crater of a long-extinct volcano, it is the fourth largest park in South Africa and covers an area of 58 000ha. The creation of the reserve is considered one of the most ambitious programmes of its kind. Thanks to Operation Genesis in 1979, which involved the game-fencing of the reserve and the reintroduction of many long-vanished species, the park now has in excess of 7 000 animals including 24 of the larger species.

Durban City Tour
A Durban City Tour offers a vibrant exploration of South Africa's third-largest city, blending culture, history, and coastal beauty. Highlights include the scenic Golden Mile beachfront, the iconic uShaka Marine World, and the bustling Victoria Street Market, known for its spices and crafts. This tour showcases Durban's rich cultural heritage and diverse influences.

Swazi Craft Market
Traditional Swazi craft markets in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) are vibrant showcases of local artistry and culture. These markets feature a variety of handmade goods, including woven baskets, wooden carvings, beadwork, pottery, and textiles. Artisans often use traditional techniques passed down through generations, creating unique pieces that reflect Swazi heritage and craftsmanship. Visitors can find popular items like colorful sisal baskets, intricate jewelry, and sculptures depicting local wildlife and cultural themes.
