Originally designed by Tom Chisholm and Tom Dunn in 1891, Ganton Golf Club has been touched by the game’s most influential and prolific designers such as Harry Vardon and James Braid. The excellent layout gives golfers a challenge like few others. With a driving range, clubhouse and dormy house, Ganton offers a gerat all-round golfing experience.

The course at Ganton Golf Club is ranked among the very best in the UK, littered with deep bunkers on every hole as well as a range of gorse, even the very best golfers will be tested. Having hosted the Ryder Cup among many other prestigious competitions, Ganton provides a round that will live long in the memory of golfers.

The challenge starts right from the 1st tee, it begins in earnest at the 15th with the last four holes consisting par 4s of 493yds, 443yds & 435yds with the last two separated by a 251yd par 3 to provide a tough but memorable finish.

Other memorable holes are 4th where the approach is to a plateau green with a bunker on the right & swales to the left, the 11th which just seems to tighten up the further you go down the hole with the gorse on the right & the prevailing wind coming off the left plus the short par 4 14th with a large bunker at 220yds off the tee that is teasing you in to trying to go for the green.
