The American Club overview

This stunning 5-star resort in Wisconsin is owned and operated by the Kohler Company and has won numerous awards including the Top 100 Golf Resorts by Conde Nast Traveller magazine. From luxurious accommodation to a world-class spa within close proximity to Whistling Straits Golf Club, this resort has it all.

Golf Courses

Blackwolf Run Golf Club is within walking distance of The American Club and features two elite 18-hole courses. The River Course is the highlight here, carved by glacial runoff with steeply banked tree-lined fairways and dramatic elevation changes. Whilst the Meadow Valleys Course is defined by rolling prairies, oak savannahs, heathland and ravines.

Whistling Straits is a 15-minute drive away and home to two courses – The Irish and The Straits. The Straits Course held the PGA Championship in 2004, 2010 & 2015 and was the host of the 2021 Ryder Cup. The stunning layout is consistently ranked among the toughest and most scenic courses in the U.S.

The Irish Course offers a distinct yet complementary golfing experience. While it lacks the sweeping lakefront views of its counterpart, it features a rugged and imaginative layout that captures the spirit of inland Irish links.
