Blue Canyon Country Club overview
A legendary venue in its native homeland of Thailand, Blue Canyon Golf Club rose to fame when the now famed Canyon Course was selected to host the European Tour’s Johnnie Walker Classic and is now the only venue to host this tournament three times.
The club itself has the beautiful backdrop of the Phang Nga mountains and the Andaman Sea and offers golfers two exceptional championship courses, the Lakes Course and the Canyons Course. Canyon Course
A previous host to the Honda Invitational and twice for the Johnnie Walker Classics Tournament. With one being when Tiger staged one of the most astounding comebacks of the game to see Ernie Els defeated in a playoff for the final hole. The Canyon Course is a hard challenge for golfers of all handicap levels and will require you to be on top form if you are to score well. With hazards, aplenty accurate tee shots and precision play are definitely key to carding an impressive round here.
Lakes Course
This amazing course offers a completely different game to that of its sister course, the Canyon, but is every bit as challenging and rewarding. With five sets of tees to choose from, you’re allowed to choose the pace and the complexity of your own round. Both low and high-level handicappers can enjoy this track with wide fairways and generous greens. Take note of the memorable 18th hole, a par-4 with a remarkable finish, having previously been voted as “Best Par Four in Asia”.
