There are two enormous man-made lakes which will provide the backbone of T Golf Palma's challenge, and two couplets of holes, the 7th and 8th, and the 15th and 16th - look set to be the thrilling showcases of any round here. The 8th hole is 354 yards and the tee-shot is played directly over water to the fairway and the 16th is a dramatic par-3, playing 202 yards entirely over water to a raised and bunkered green.
