Jack Nicklaus’ “Tradition” layout (often simply called the Nicklaus Course) offers a smooth and flowing contrast to Reunion Golf Resort other two more dramatic courses. Rather than steep elevation swings, the design emphasises elegant lines, elevated tees and greens, and strategic risk-reward options that push the golfer to think each shot through.

Tree-lined fairways frame the routing, and many holes are flanked by bunkers, waste areas, and water features. The layout is known to play firm and fast, especially from the back tees, making every shot count.

Signature Holes

The par-3 16th hole is frequently highlighted as the signature. At about 210 yards from the back tees, it plays over water to an elevated, narrow green - demanding both precision and nerve.

Another memorable hole is the par-4 14th, with an elevated tee, a large expansive waste bunker, pot bunkers, and water alongside the green forming a visually compelling and strategic test.

Post Round

In 2018, Reunion Resort opened a new clubhouse facility at the Nicklaus layout, featuring:

• A sports bar named 'Traditions' with an open kitchen and terrace overlooking the 18th green.
• Locker rooms, retail space, event lawns and panoramic course views.

Reunion Resort’s overall golf amenities (practice areas, teaching facilities, club fitting) also serve the Nicklaus course alongside the Palmer and Watson layouts.
