Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge
Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge overview
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge is a bucket list stay and play resort for golfers visiting Florida. With a championship course on-site, that plays host to the PGA Tour’s ‘Arnold Palmer Invitational,’ golfers can experience what the pros do. There are 70 bedrooms at Bay Hill that come with standard amenities including TV, Wi-Fi and coffee makers. Guests at Bay Hill are considered members and are treated as such throughout the entirety of their stay.
Champion and Challenger 9’s:
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge features three 9-hole loops. The Champion and Challenger 9’s compose the 18-holes that you see the pros play at the PGA TOUR’s ‘Arnold Palmer Invitational.’
Measuring 7,300 yards from the back tees and featuring four tee boxes, Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Course will challenge any level of golfer. The gently undulating terrain, immaculate fairways and greens, and mix of water hazards truly make this a championship-level golf course.
The lesser of the courses at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge is the ‘Charger 9’. This is a more traditional resort-style course that features a lot of palm trees and water. Conditions are still excellent on the Charger 9 and guests are given the option of a 27-hole venue.
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge consists of 70 bedrooms. Room types include standard lodge rooms, suites & guest cottages. Each unit offers amenities including TV, Wi-Fi, and a coffee maker.
The Lodge rooms give guests the option of either one king bed or two queens. The suites have a parlour room with a sofa, chairs and tables, and are adjoined to the sleeping room with a king bed. The guest cottages have one king-size bed and two full-size beds and depending on the unit available, guests may be treated to a possible lake or golf course view.
All 70 bedrooms at Bay Hill feature balconies and air conditioning, as well as the usual amenities such as TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and coffee/tea makers. Parking on-site is also free.
Restaurant & Bars
Dining options at the resort include three restaurants, as well as a poolside bar. The ‘Grill & Classic Rooms’ offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. For more casual dining the ‘Bay Window’ offers a mix of salads, sandwiches and pizzas, all with an incredible view of the golf course.
‘The Members Lounge’ is a great place to start and end your evening with local beers and unique cocktails. Finally, the ‘Splash Casual Poolside Dining’ provides guests with a lighter environment where they have the choice to sit in or outdoors.
Spa & Leisure
Guests can enjoy a private resort spa experience where the finest treatments and services are available. There are also six tennis courts, a fitness centre, and a heated swimming pool for guests to utilize. If that is not enough, you can also head over to the marina and experience a private guided fishing excursion on the Butler Chain of Lakes in Orlando.
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge is in Southwest Orlando about 25 minutes away from the Orlando International Airport. While the club provides a quieter and quainter feel, guests can still easily head into downtown Orlando, located only 20 minutes away.
On Site Activities
In addition to championship golf, guests can also utilize the club’s tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness centre & spa. Another excellent activity that guests enjoy is the private fishing excursion out on the Butler Chain of Lakes.
