Barnham Broom Pennink Course overview
Location: Norfolk | Style: Parkland / Links-inspired | Par: 71 | Designer (Opened): Donald Steel (1989)
Ranked the no. 10 course in Norfolk by Top 100 Golf Courses
The Pennink Course offers a premium Norfolk golf experience. Set along the flowing waters of the River Yare and through mature woods, the course was created by Frank Pennink. From its tree-lined fairways and meandering river crossing to its undulating greens and water hazards, it rewards precision and strategic thinking as much as power.
It has earned a tournament pedigree with appearances in regional PGA events and inclusion on the country's open rota.
Signature Holes
One of the standout holes is Hole 3—a demanding 416-yard par-4 where the river cuts diagonally across the fairway approximately 50 yards short of the green, forcing a well-judged tee shot and approach.
Post Round
After your round on the Pennink, you can unwind in the resort’s spa, enjoy a hearty meal in The Brasserie or relax with a drink on the terrace overlooking the fairways. Stay-and-play stays are easily arranged.
