Golf Courses

The Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Course is set on its own island, and is a 10 minute boat ride away from the resort.

This Bernhard Langer designed championship course is stunning, set amongst a garden of amazing beauty. It is challenging for confirmed players, but its many tee boxes allow the less experienced golfers to also enjoy their day.

Accommodation

This new, contemporary 5* hotel is unique in style. It has an urban feel mixed with one of the longest beaches in Mauritius. Its main square has a feel of an Italian town, with a variety of restaurants and bars located around a central square which they call the “piazza”. It’s rooms are spacious and are all facing the ocean. The hotel has 255 rooms in total, mostly composed of standard sea view and superior beach front rooms. All the modern room amenities are featured, including an I-pod docking station, coffee maker and wireless internet.

Restaurant & Bars

The hotel has five restaurants on site, with Le Marche, Sapori and Hasu being around the piazza, and the other two on the beach. They can cater for a wide range of cuisines and tastes, including Italian, French and Mauritian specialities.

Le Marche, the hotel’s buffet restaurant, serves international cuisine and is open all day long. If you fancy pizza or pasta, then head to Sapori, the Italian option next door. Hasu is the Japanese option, open only for dinner, and by the poolside and beach you can also find Chopsticks (Chinese) and Tides (seafood).

There are also two bars on the resort, Shores and Tides Beach Bar, and even a nightclub open until late in the high season.

Spa & Leisure

The Sea Spa at Long Beach has 12 treatment rooms, with circa 50 different treatments available. The treatments are based around Thali Sens, an original concept from French-based marine cosmetology and thalassotherapy specialist Thal'ion.

The Spa is also complete with an outdoor pavilion, hammam, hair salon, relaxation area and a café.

Location

The resort is located in Poste de Flacq on the north east coast of the Island. It is a 60 min transfer to Sir Ramgoolam International Airport, or a 15 min helicopter journey. The flight time from London is 12 hours with direct flights with British Airways or Air Mauritius.
