Solmar Golf Links
Los Cabos, Mexico
Solmar Golf Links overview
Located on the Pacific coast of the Baja California Peninsula, Solmar Golf Links offers a memorable round just outside Cabo San Lucas. Designed by Greg Norman, this par-72 championship course makes full use of its coastal setting, with holes routed through natural dunes and desert terrain overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The course combines wide landing areas with strategic approach shots, undulating greens and distinctive revetted bunkers. Coastal winds can also play a major role, adding another layer of challenge as you make your way around the course. With ocean views accompanying much of the round, Solmar Golf Links is an excellent addition to a golf holiday in Cabo.
Golf Courses
The Solmar layout moves between sandy dunes, desert vegetation and exposed stretches of coastline, creating plenty of variety throughout the round.
One of its defining features is the use of revetted pot bunkers, which bring a links-inspired element to the course and place a premium on accurate approach play. Generous fairways make the course enjoyable from the tee, while the positioning of bunkers and the influence of the Pacific breeze ensure there is still plenty to think about.
On Site Activities
Golfers can make use of the clubhouse facilities before or after their round, with food and drink available alongside views across the surrounding course and landscape. Practice facilities are also available, giving you the opportunity to warm up before heading to the first tee.
Location
Solmar Golf Links is located on the Pacific side of the Baja California Peninsula, close to Cabo San Lucas and alongside Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Golf & Spa. Its location makes it easy to combine a round here with a stay in Cabo, giving golfers access to both the course and the wider range of restaurants, beaches and activities in the area.
