Old Course overview

Founded in 1889, the Old Course at Moray Golf Club is a traditional links course designed by Old Tom Morris. The beautiful layout presents deep bunkers and fast greens which are a consistent theme throughout the 18 holes, the last of which is often referred to as “the finest finishing hole in the country".

In 2014 a renovation program was conducted by Howard Swan. This included refurbishing a selection of bunkers, creating new tees, and completely remodeling the 1st and 17th holes.

Many professional tournaments have been held here over the years, including the Men's Home Internationals and the Scottish Amateur. This is a true testament to the quality of the Old Course.
