For a sterner test of golf, Foret Course is the more demanding of the two Citrus layouts. Ranked 2nd in Tunisia according to Top 100 Courses, it is set among mature trees and gently undulating terrain, it offers a rewarding challenge that will appeal to more experienced golfers while remaining fair and playable.

Tighter fairways, doglegs and strategically placed bunkers place an emphasis on accuracy from the tee, while well-protected greens demand a solid short game. La Forêt is not about brute force but thoughtful shot selection, making it a course that grows in appreciation the more you play it.

Signature Holes

The par-4 9th is often highlighted as a standout hole, requiring a well-positioned tee shot to avoid bunkers and overhanging trees before an approach into a guarded green.

A par here is a strong score and can feel like a small victory as you round off your front nine and head into the second half of your round.

Post Round

Following your round, golfers can relax at the clubhouse bar or terrace, enjoying refreshments in a friendly, sociable setting. It’s the perfect place to reflect on the challenges of La Forêt before heading back to Hammamet for the evening.

Our view

The Forêt Course offers the stronger golfing challenge at Citrus and although we recomened both highly, the Foret is terrific option for your Tunisian trip. Its tighter layout and strategic design provide a rewarding contrast to the Oliviers Course, making it the natural choice for a competitive round or the highlight round of the trip.
