The Links Course overview
Par: 73 | Designed by: Gary Player | Yardage: 7,579 yards
For a great test of golf in stunning surroundings, The Links Course at Fancourt is hard to beat. Consistently ranked as the number one course in South Africa by Top 100 Golf Courses it promises to be one of any golfers most memorable rounds.
It is, however, one of the most difficult tests of golf in South Africa so we recommend you carry more balls than usual and be patient - The Links was never meant to be a low scoring, target golf course. Thankfully, this golf course provides some of the best caddies in the country to guide you round.
Signature Holes
Often cited as a signature hole, the par 3, 17th is one of the most memorable of all the Fancourt courses. Named 'Prayer' there is very little space to play with, a burn runs along the left hand side of the green and thick rough awaits a wayward shot right.
A par is a brilliant score and could be the difference maker in any match you have with your friends!
Post Round
After a round on The Links, golfers can unwind in true style at Fancourt. Head to the Club Lounge for a well-deserved drink, light snacks, or a hearty post-round meal in a relaxed, social setting
Did You Know?
Host to the President's Cup in November 2003 it presents a unique golfing experience that gives you a chance to walk in the footsteps of some of golf's greatest players such as Tiger Woods and Ernie Els.
