Overview

Crail Golf Society is the 7th oldest golf club in the world and boasts some of the best links golf you will find in Scotland. Located on the East coast of Scotland, Crail is renowned for its friendly membership section which does its utmost to ensure the traditions set out at this ancient club are upheld to this day. Perched high on the rocks overlooking the 18th green the clubhouse at Crail Golf Society is probably one of the best located clubhouses in the UK, it provides golfers with state-of-the-art facilities to take advantage of including two bars, three catering areas, superb changing rooms and a knowledgeable pro-shop. Both the courses at Crail are of good merit with the Balcomie links course boasting centuries of history and stunning coastal views and the record winning Craighead Links, golfers who visit will be spoilt rotten.

Craighead Links

Offering a fantastic venue for an unforgettable golf break, this fantastic golf course is the 7th oldest golf club in the world. Some of the finest links golf in Scotland can be found here, making this the perfect place to test your skills. At 6250 yards the golf course is a good test of a golfers' ability and is certainly a must play if you are considering the area for a golf break.

Balcomie Links

Maintained to a very high standard, The Balcomie links golf course boasts spectacular views of the Scottish coast, with many of the holes bordering the beaches. Measuring in at 5922 yards off the yellow tees, it’s great for those looking for a shorter course. Rife with obstacles however, it is very challenging. The numerous tricky holes make for a very interesting round of golf.
