Designed by Pete Dye, La Cana Golf Course is a 27-hole championship layout and one of the Dominican Republic’s most loved coastal designs. Made up of the Tortuga, Arrecife, and Hacienda nines, the course blends sweeping ocean views, wide resort-friendly fairways, and classic Dye strategy to create a round that is both scenic and engaging.

With 14 holes overlooking the sea, it’s a standout favourite for golfers visiting the Caribbean. Set along Punta Cana’s white-sand coastline, La Cana offers a welcoming yet strategic test for all abilities. Its use of eco-friendly paspalum grass (the first in the Caribbean) ensures excellent year-round conditioning with seawater irrigation.

Signature Holes

Arrecife No. 5 – Par 3 - Perhaps the most photographed hole at La Cana, this short par 3 plays directly along the shoreline with waves breaking just left of the green. Club selection is vital, as ocean breezes can turn this postcard hole into a thrilling challenge.
