Golf Course overview

Katameya Dunes features three distinct 9 hole loops – A, B and C – each offering generous landing areas, flowing fairway shaping and bunkering that blends naturally into the desert landscape. Water comes into play on key approaches, while large, subtly contoured greens reward confident short game play.

These loops combine to create different 18 hole experiences:

• A & B – The Lakes Course, the championship layout, offering more water influenced holes and strong risk and reward opportunities.
• A & C – Dunes Course 1, showcasing expansive fairways, desert framing and strategic approach shots.
• B & C – Dunes Course 2, similarly conditioned, with rugged waste areas and sweeping views that highlight the natural terrain.

One of the three 9 hole loops closes each day on a rotating maintenance cycle, which means the available 18 hole combination may vary. While A & B form the official championship course, all three loop pairings are maintained to the same high standard, ensuring golfers enjoy a fantastic experience regardless of which configuration they play.

Signature Holes

The shared front nine features a standout Par three at hole 6, played across a wide lake to a deep, contoured green framed by bunkers and desert vegetation. Wind often affects the shot, so accuracy and club choice are vital.

On the Lakes Course, hole 14 is a sweeping par five that bends around water and tempts confident players to reach the green in two, while those laying up must navigate well positioned bunkers to create the ideal angle.

Post Round
