With three Open Championship venues located along the Ayrshire coastline, this 152nd Open adventure is sure to be a spectacular event. Last time Royal Troon hosted the Open we witnessed an epic battle between Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson, which was labelled ‘The Duel in the Sun II’. In 2025, The 153rd Open returns to Ireland to Royal Portrush. Last time out, Portrush saw home favourite Shane Lowry storm home to victory with a 6-shot lead. This victory was Lowery's first and only Major Championship victory in tough and testing conditions, and 2025 intends to be another epic affair!
