Golfbreaks Links Club terms & conditions

This is an Agreement between You, the Member, and Golfbreaks (“Us” or “We”).

Golfbreaks Links Club is a trading name of Golfbreaks Limited (“Golfbreaks” "we" or "us"), which is registered with company number 03571913 and has its registered office at Minton Place, Victoria Street, Windsor, SL4 1EG. We are a member of ABTOT (membership number 5484) and have an Air Travel Organiser's Licence (“ATOL”) (Licence number 10374).

By following the joining process at https://www.golfbreaks.com/en-gb/subscriptions/golfbreaks-links-club/ you are accepting the terms and conditions in this agreement. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website. Using the website implies that you accept these terms. We do occasionally update these terms so please refer back to them in the future.

1.1 Golfbreaks - Golfbreaks is a leading golf travel company specializing in organizing golf holidays, breaks, and tournament experiences worldwide. Golfbreaks operates from offices in the UK, US, and Scandinavia and are both ABTOT and ATOL protected in the UK, offering financial security for customers. Golfbreaks is the service provider for Golfbreaks Links Club.

1.2 MASHIE Club - MASHIE Club is a premium golf society offering flexible memberships with access to top UK golf courses, exclusive events, and a golf concierge service. MASHIE provide a way for golfers to socialize, network, and enjoy discounted green fees at partner courses. MASHIE is the app service fulfilment partner for Golfbreaks Links Club. The MASHIE App can be downloaded onto Apple or Android devices via the respective App Store.

1.3 Golfbreaks Links Club – Golfbreaks Links Club (GLC) is the official name of the membership subscription service offered by Golfbreaks.

1.4 Membership – Paying the annual subscription provides membership status to the Golfbreaks Links Club for the payee only. A single membership cannot be shared amongst multiple individuals.

1.5 Events – Events are all scheduled dates displayed within the MASHIE app, Golfbreaks website or Amateur Golf Events website where a hosted experience is detailed for Golfbreaks Links Club Members. Members have the option to enter any displayed events. Some events will be complimentary whereas others will have a highlighted cost to enter.

1.6 Event Credit – is a displayed amount of credit that can be used as either full payment or part-payment when entering an event offered via the MASHIE app.

1.7 Tee times – Tee times refers to the specific, scheduled time that a player or group of players is allowed to begin their round on a golf course. Golfbreaks Links Club members can book tee times at the courses listed via the MASHIE app concierge service.

1.8 Tee time Credit – is a displayed amount of credit that can used as either full payment or part-payment when booking a tee time at applicable golf courses via the MASHIE app.

1.9 Tee time Booking Service - The concierge booking provision that Golfbreaks Links Club members can utilise for booking tee times via the MASHIE app.

1.10 Partner Brand Discounts – a partner brand is a collaboration between two or more companies to create or promote products or services. Golfbreaks Links Club members have the option to utilise a highlighted discount, either a percentage saving, or fixed sum against the purchase of a partner brand product or service. Note, terms and conditions relating to the product or service purchased are the responsibility and liability of the partner brand and not Golfbreaks Links Club.

1.11 Golfbreaks Travel Discount – Golfbreaks Links Club members are entitled to a booking discount when booking golf travel via Golfbreaks. The applied discount is specific to the destination as follows:

• UK = 5% off total cost of quoted price
• EU = 3% off total cost of quoted price
• ROW = 2% off total cost of quoted price

Note that all terms and conditions relating to the Golfbreaks Links Club travel discount can be viewed in the MASHIE app.

1.12 Amateur Golf Events - Amateur Golf Events (AGE) is a series of Pairs Better Ball Stableford events hosted at prestigious UK golf clubs where the winning pair at each event will win a place in the grand final to compete for a high value golf holiday prize. Golfbreaks Links Club members can use their event credit toward entering Amateur Golf Events.

1.13 Amateur Golf Events – A benefits platform which Golfbreaks Links Club members will be automatically enrolled, offering discounts on Golfbreaks partner brands and entry into Monthly giveaway competitions for high-value, golf travel prizes.

2.1 The Golfbreaks Links Club subscription has a range of benefits across which obligation and fulfilment is shared between the registered companies Golfbreaks Ltd and MASHIE.

2.2 Golfbreaks have ownership and are responsible for the provision of the following subscription benefits:

• Breakpoints credit
• Golfbreaks travel discount
• Golfbreaks Links Cub members portal

2.3 MASHIE have ownership and are responsible for the provision of the following subscription benefits:

• Events credit
• Tee time credit
• Discounted tee times
• Social18 events
• Partner brand discounts
• MASHIE members app

All Terms and conditions for the MASHIE managed benefits can be found HERE at the MASHIE UK website.

Note that terms and conditions for specific benefits located in the MASHIE app are displayed at the point of use. For example, when booking a tee time, you will be presented with the specific terms and conditions across which you agree to accept before confirming the tee time. This presentation of terms is replicated when bookings into Events and utilising a brand partner discount.

3.1 When purchasing your membership subscription, Golfbreaks Links Club is responsible for providing the assistance you need to familiarise yourself and have the confidence to make use of all membership subscription benefits.

3.2 Golfbreaks Links Club is responsible for providing you with a secure and accessible members account platform, hosted at https://my.golfbreaks.com/en-gb/ maintaining your points balance, enabling you to make a booking and ensuring your account is accurate and up to date.

3.3 Golfbreaks Links Club is responsible for providing you with access to the Golfbreaks Links Club app managed via MASHIE club. The access, functionality and maintenance of the app to a level which can service all subscription benefits is the responsibility of Golfbreaks Links Club.

3.4 Golfbreaks Links Club may be liable to you if we have been negligent, we have misrepresented important information or have been in breach of any other relevant law.

4.1 When you make payment for the annual Golfbreaks Links Club membership subscription you will receive an email confirmation with details on the all the benefits provided and ready to be utilised. The term of your membership subscription will be 12-months plus the remaining duration of the calendar month at which your subscription term is due to end.

4.2 We will contact you via email no later than 30-days before the end of your 12-month membership subscription to let you know your options on renewal.

4.3 Please note, your Golfbreaks Links Club account will be set to auto renewal, unless you choose to turn auto-renewal off in your Golfbreaks account. If you turn off auto renewal, you will receive notification that your membership subscription is going to end, one month before end date. You will have the option to renew your membership subscription or allow your current membership subscription to run out to the date of closure.

4.4 After your membership subscription ends, you'll still be eligible for Golfbreaks Rewards - our free loyalty programme. That means you can continue earning and spending Breakpoints, unlock member-only offers, and enjoy savings on golf travel, all without being part of the Golfbreaks Links Club.

5.1 All members have the right to cancel their membership subscription within the 14-day cooling off period starting from the date the membership subscription payment is received. You can cancel via your Golfbreaks account homepage using the link “Cancel my subscription” under the ‘Subscriptions’ section. Note, this option with be removed from your account home page once the 14-day cooling off period had passed.

5.2 Please note that if you choose to cancel your membership subscription within the 1-day cooling off period, you may not get a full refund if you have used any of the credit benefits in this time. This includes:

• Breakpoints Credit
• Events Credit
• Tee Time Credit

5.2 Outside of the of the 14-day cooling off period, all members have the right to request cancellation and consideration of refund or partial refund on membership subscription fee if it is determined that the member has not been able utilise the membership subscription as advertised due to fault or lack of provision on the part of Golfbreaks Links Club. All cancellation requests should be sent to the contact details provided in Section 6 of the Terms and Conditions.
