Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media and Content Production Manager to aid in leading all aspects of video, social and influencer content creation for Golfbreaks. You’ll oversee the full production process across campaigns, on-location filming trips, social shoots, and the day to day management of the content that is going out on all media channels here at Golfbreaks. Working alongside the Head of Media and Partnerships, you’ll bring creative ideas to life that inspire golfers, drive engagement, and strengthen our brand across every digital channel.

This is a hands-on managerial role suited to someone with strong production expertise, a genuine passion for and understanding of golf, and a proven ability to manage multiple creative projects and teams globally. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with some of the world’s leading golf content creators, including Peter Finch and other high-profile influencers shaping the modern golf media landscape.

Key responsibilities:

Production Leadership

  • Oversee all stages of content production across video, social media, and influencer campaigns – from pre-production through to final delivery.
  • Lead and mentor the social media production team, developing workflow systems, clarity of roles, and creative excellence.
  • Manage global filming trips in partnership with tourist boards, global partners, golf resorts, and venues, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics, schedules, and permissions along with full wrap up reports.
  • Attend on-location shoots to ensure content is executed to the highest standard and aligned with Golfbreaks’ creative direction.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with the Head of Media and Partnerships, who oversees global content planning and presents on camera, to deliver cohesive and impactful brand storytelling.
  • Liaise with tourist boards, resorts, venues, and agency partners to secure filming permissions, negotiate terms, and align production objectives with full wrap up reports.
  • Collaborate with leading golf content creators such as Peter Finch, as well as a wide range of influencer partners and creative agencies, to produce premium, authentic content.
  • Work closely with videographers, editors, and creative partners to maintain consistency and quality across all visual output.

Content Operations and Delivery

  • Manage production budgets, timelines, and resourcing to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Oversee post-production, ensuring content is optimised for Golfbreaks’ website, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Coordinate talent and crew, ensuring efficient use of in-house and external resources.

Paid Social

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Performance Marketing Manager to strengthen the paid social pipeline, ensuring that social insight informs ad ideation, creative development, and testing frameworks.
  • Embed the Social Media and Production Manager into the paid social process, contributing to concept development, briefing, and creation of ad assets to ensure platform native, high performing creative.
  • Drive a feedback loop between organic performance, content production, and paid media results, using learnings to continuously improve creative effectiveness and return on investment.

Team Leadership - Global Social Media

  • Lead, support and develop the social media executives within the global social media team, ensuring alignment across UK and US markets.
  • Set clear objectives, priorities, and workflows to drive efficiency and creativity across all social output.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the social team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Media and Partnerships, to balance creative ambition with consistent execution across all social platforms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Ensure social media executives are fully integrated into broader video, influencer, and campaign production planning.
  • Support the professional growth of team members through regular one - to - ones, development goals, and project ownership opportunities

Innovation and Quality Control

  • Champion creative innovation in video and social storytelling.
  • Maintain a consistent visual and tonal standard across all Golfbreaks content.
  • Stay informed on new production trends, tools, and technologies relevant to digital content creation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in a Content leadership role across video, digital, or social content.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale productions and international filming trips.
  • Experience working with influencers and high-profile content creators.
  • Strong understanding of golf specific social media content formats, storytelling, and brand strategy.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in managing budgets, schedules, and multi-location logistics.
  • Experience overseeing podcasts and multi-platform video content.
  • A love of golf or strong interest in the sport is highly desirable.
