    Dunluce Course at Royal Portrush Golf Club introduction

    The two courses at Royal Portrush are Dunluce and the Valley. Dunluce is based around some enormous sand dunes and has serene coastal views. The Valley course is a good test of golf at 6,278 yards with a par of 70.

    Built in 1888 and redesigned by Harry Shapland Colt in 1947, this incredible course climbs its way up, down and around some enormous sand dunes. With serene views down the Antrim coast it is regularly ranked in the worlds top 20 courses and it had the honour of hosting the first Open Championship to be held in Ireland in 1951.
