Golf Courses
Orange County National features three on-site courses, each offering a distinct style of play and outstanding conditioning.
Panther Lake Course Style: Parkland | Length: 7,350 yards | Par: 72 | Designers: Phil Ritson and Dave Harman Opened in 1997, Panther Lake is the original course at the resort , the layout flows naturally through wetlands, lakes, and gently rolling terrain, with subtle elevation changes that are rare for central Florida. Strategic bunkering and water hazards reward thoughtful shot selection, while wide corridors keep the course playable for a range of skill levels.
Crooked Cat Course Style: Links-inspired | Length: 7,454 yards | Par: 72 | Designers: Phil Ritson and Dave Harman Opened in 1999 and designed by the same architectural team, Crooked Cat delivers a more open, links-inspired feel. Rolling fairways, native heather, and large contoured greens create a visually striking and strategic test. Bermuda Dwarf grass throughout the course ensures excellent playing surfaces year-round.
Bonus fact: LIV Golf League made its debut at Orange County National Golf Center’s Crooked Cat course in 2023.
The Tooth – 9-hole executive course The Tooth is a relaxed yet well-maintained 9-hole executive course, ideal for warming up, casual rounds, or shorter play days. Guests staying at the lodge enjoy complimentary access, making it a great added value for golf travelers.
Practice facilities & Golf Performance Village
Orange County National is home to the largest driving range in the United States, spanning 42 acres of dedicated practice space. Facilities include:
- a 22,000-square-foot lighted putting green

The Golf Performance Village serves as a complete training hub, with 12 on-site teaching professionals offering instruction across all aspects of the game. Crooked Cat Course
The Crooked Cat Course is located onsite at Orange County National Golf Center, 30 miles east of Orlando. Built in 1998, it is 7493 yards from the tips, however, there are five tee boxes to choose from, allowing all abilities to enjoy this unique inland-links style course. Large contoured greens and dramatic elevation changes (unlike anything you usually find in Florida) define Crooked Cat. The wind and strategically placed bunkers challenge players all day long.
Panther Lake Course
Panther Lake Golf Course is located at Orange County National Golf Center, 30 minutes east of Orlando, and is the original course onsite. Measuring in at 7350 yards this par-72 layout is regarded as one of the best in the area. Elevated tees and well-guarded greens make a round at Panther Lake challenging to any level of player. Conditions are always top notch and the landscape is untouched by residential developments allowing golfers to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
