We currently offer golf vacation packages across multiple destinations throughout the US, the Dominican Republic, some areas of Mexico and the UK & Ireland.  Our portfolio is continuously developing so please feel free to ask about areas you are interested in, even if you can’t initially see them on the website.

How do I make an inquiry?

How far in advance should I book a golf trip?

For travel within the US, we recommend booking a trip at least one month in advance (6 months if you are a larger group). For travel outside of the US, we recommend planning early and booking a trip at least 6 to 12 months in advance to avoid availability challenges.

Are resort fees and tax included in my package price?

95% of our travel packages include all costs relating to hotel resort fees and all taxes. At time of booking, your Golf Vacation Specialist will advise you if there are any additional costs to be incurred while on your trip.

Question 6

What should I do if I experience an issue while on my trip?

If you have a complaint or experience any problems during your trip, we ask you to report the issue with the venue staff as soon as possible, so they can remedy the problem immediately. If the matter cannot be resolved by the venue’s team, please contact Golfbreaks so we can support you without delay.

Can I book a golf only trip (no accommodation included)?

Yes, however golf only bookings must be a minimum of 12 rounds (ex: 4 group members playing 3 rounds each)

Are golf carts included in the package price?

Carts are included in your package price unless stated otherwise, or when traveling outside of the US.

What happens if there is bad weather, and I cannot play my golf rounds?

Please see our inclement weather policy located on our terms and condition page. Each hotel and golf course sets its own inclement weather policy. All decisions regarding partial refunds or green fee vouchers are solely at the discretion of the supplier.

Do I need vouchers for the trip?

All the details for your trip will be attached to your ‘Final Itinerary and Vouchers Email’ which is sent after your final payment is made. We strongly recommend that you print and take with you any vouchers that are relevant to each booking component – please note that not all booking components require vouchers and therefore if you do not see one attached to your ‘Final Itinerary and Vouchers Email’, it is because it is not required.

How early should I arrive for my tee time?

We recommend being ready to tee off 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Most golfers prefer to arrive 1 hour prior to their scheduled time, allowing them to warm up before hitting the course.

Can I include non-golfers on my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can book a trip that includes non-golfers. If this is the case - please make a note on your web inquiry submission with us, or if after your submission please inform your designated Golf Vacation Specialist prior to booking.

What is included in a non-golfer package?

Accepted Answer

The majority of our non-golfer packages include accommodation, full use of the leisure facilities and any meals the golfers have included. However, some venues do charge a small fee for the use of facilities – you can check with your Golf Vacation Specialist prior to booking.

Can I reserve private dining?

What time can I check into the hotel?

Check-in can vary for each venue. Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards but can be confirmed with your Golf Vacation Specialist at the time of booking. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested, but not guaranteed, and if granted may come with an extra cost.

Are your advertised prices based on two people sharing?

All prices advertised on the website are a per person price, based on two people sharing a room, unless otherwise stated.

Are flights included in my package?

No, we do not offer flight inclusive packages. If you require help with your flight search, we recommend either www.skyscanner.com or www.google.com/flights

Are transfers included in my package?

No, transfers are only included on request. If you and your group require ground transportation, please contact your Golf Vacation Specialist.

Is travel insurance included in my trip?

Accepted Answer

No, travel insurance is not included in any package you purchase from Golfbreaks. Golf Safe is our recommended travel insurance provider. They offer two types of cover – Secure and Secure Plus (cancel for any reason).

Can I make changes after I have booked, and will there be any costs incurred?

All changes must be made by the lead organizer of the trip. Any changes will be dependent on availability and are subject to Golfbreaks' terms and conditions, supplier cancellation policies and may incur a change in package price.

When can I make changes to my booking?

All amendment requests must be submitted to Golfbreaks before your final balance is due. All amendments are subject to availability and supplier cancellation policies.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your booking with us, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible to discuss your next steps. A final confirmation of cancellation by you must be submitted in writing via email to usasales@golfbreaks.com. Please note that the deposit portion of your total booking price is non-refundable and there may be further costs incurred depending on our supplier’s terms and conditions and the timing of your cancellation.

What deposit is required to confirm a booking?

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required for domestic bookings. Larger group sizes and other bookings (venue dependent) may require different deposit terms, your designated Golf Vacation Specialist will advise you of these details at time of booking. Deposit payments are due at the time of the booking.

You can make a payment by using the payment portal sent to you by the clickable weblink in your quote or deposit email. Alternatively, you can call Golfbreaks and make a payment over the phone or send us a check in the mail.

When do I need to pay my final balance?

Domestic and Mid-Haul (USA, Dominican Republic, Mexico) bookings require the balance 45 days prior to day of travel. Long-Haul and Tournament bookings require the balance 90 days prior to day of travel. Larger group sizes and other bookings (venue dependent) may require an earlier balance due date, your designated Golf Vacation Specialist will advise you of these details at time of booking.

Can a member of the group pay separately?

Group members can make payments separately by using the link sent on the itinerary or by calling Golfbreaks and making a payment over the phone. If you are not the lead organizer, please reference your booking number when calling in to make payment.

What should I do if I am unsuccessful paying online?

If you are not able to make payment online or do not see the correct amount to pay, please call Golfbreaks and we will assist you.

What should I do if I paid the wrong amount online?

If you make a payment for an amount that is different to what you intended or turns out to be an incorrect amount, please call Golfbreaks and we will rectify the situation. However, please note that there may be a refund processing fee.

As the lead organizer, how can I see what the members of my group have paid?

You can click the “Go to Payment” button on your deposit link, from there click the “Show/Hide Transactions” link on the left-hand side of the page, one under “Deposit” and one under “Balance”. This will enable you to see a list of the payment transactions including details such as amount paid and date.

Yes, you can buy gift vouchers from Golfbreaks starting at $50.00. These can then be redeemed on any booking that is made with us.
