Overview

Style: Woodland

Originally created by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1971, this parkland forest course has consistently ranked as one of the best rounds in the country. Most notably, the Allianz Course held the Italian open from 2009 to 2012, as well as co-hosting the Circolo Golf Torino in 2009.

Signature Holes

Whilst the 18th hole claims to be the signature, a 524 yard drive requiring an accurate and straight drive, it is actually the 17th that has been awarded the “Best Hole in Italy” by Gazzetta dello Sport. This 468 yard hole includes trees on either side of the fairway, a water hazard just before the green and bunkers, proving to be quite the test for a golfer of any level.
