The Black Desert Resort Golf Course is a 19-hole, 7,500-yard desert course that is designed for all skill levels. It features forgiving fairways, well-manicured greens, and strategically placed landing areas ranging from 70 to 100 yards. The course is the final design by renowned architect Tom Weiskopf, marking his 73rd project.

The course is set against a backdrop of lava rock formations, red canyons, and distant mountain ranges, offering 360-degree views. Each hole presents a unique challenge, making every round memorable.

Golfers can utilise a spacious driving range and dedicated areas for chipping, pitching, and bunker practice. The bunkers feature heavy sand, offering a unique practice experience.

The clubhouse features a well-appointed pro shop stocked with the latest golf apparel and equipment. Guests also have access to locker rooms equipped with shower facilities. Club 73, located near the driving range, offers a full menu, and the Oasis is available for refreshments after the 10th hole and again after the 15th hole.

The course is the final design by renowned architect Tom Weiskopf, marking his 73rd project. Black Desert Golf Course was also selected to host a PGA TOUR event, the Black Desert Championship, in 2024, marking the tour's return to Utah.

Black Desert Resort is located in Ivins, Utah, approximately 8 miles northwest of St. George. The nearest airport is St. George Regional Airport (SGU), about 21 miles southeast of the resort. The resort is nestled amidst ancient lava fields and vibrant red rock landscapes, offering a unique desert setting.
