Golf Courses

There are 2 superb on-site courses, the Champions Course and the Legends Course, set in the serene Californian landscape which will both provide golfers with a stern yet enjoyable challenge. The Champions Course was formerly known as one of the most illustrious courses on the PGA Tour.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa has over 600 rooms available to choose from. Having all been recently re-designed, guests can be assured the three different types of guestroom and the wide range of well-appointed suites are of the highest quality.

Restaurant & Bars

The resort also boasts a wealth of dining and leisure options. Four restaurants feature on-site, allowing you to choose from a seafood grill at BlueFire Grill, local cuisine at Legends Bistro or even pool side snacks at the Edge Adult Pool.

Spa & Leisure

Since 1965, the Spa at Omni La Costa has set the gold standard for wellness retreats and was recently named the Number 1 Wellness Spa in the Country by Spa Magazine. With numerous massage, body indulgence and facial treatments the Spa at Omni La Costa is the perfect way to unwind after a day on the course.

For the more active guest, the 17 tennis courts, which include clay and floodlit courts, eight swimming pools and two 100ft water slides are sure to keep the whole family entertained during their stay.

The resort is a 35-minutes drive north of San Diego International Airport. There are direct flights to San Diego from most major cities.

Golf courses at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

Legends Course

Breaks from £1,105

Designed by Dick Wilson, the Legends course may feel tighter than the Champions course, providing a real challenge to all golfers. The front 9 is fairly hilly, while the back 9 is relatively flat and more enjoyable. Water comes into play on a lot of holes, particularly with the San Marcos creek winding its way through the course. Similar to the Champions course, there isn’t a lack of bunkers- most of them protecting the undulating greens.

Champions Course

Breaks from £1,105

Measuring in at 7172 yards, the 18-hole parkland Champions Course features wide-open fairways. These seem very inviting from the tee and the minimal amount of rough allows for the odd wide shot but the small, elevated greens require an accurate approach. Water obstacles come into play throughout the Omni La Costa Resort course and the signature hole has to be the par-3 16th, which requires water to be crossed from tee to green.
