Minthis Resort

Golf Courses

Minthis Golf Club is located on-site at the resort, hosting the outstanding par 72 Donald Steel designed course. Opened in 1994, the course boasts beautiful and challenging holes that follow the natural undulations of the topography, looping past water features and ancient groves, with hundreds of olive trees, fruit orchards and grapevines. The course reopened in 2021 following extensive developments from the Mackenzie and Ebert design team, including brand new USGA specification greens and a redesigned layout.

Elevated tees ensure the course is enjoyable for all levels of golfer, while narrow tree-lined fairways provide a challenge, with each shot requiring careful assessment. The opening nine holes is the more forgiving half of the course, encircling the historic monastery and vineyards. The back nine holes are all about precision with a wonderful variety of hazards along the way.

Minthis Resort's one and two bedroom suites are ideal for golf groups, couples, families and those looking to lose themselves in the surrounding nature. The luxury suites are spacious with contemporary furnishings, all including a private entrance, living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, family-sized bathroom and outdoor veranda or courtyard garden to overlook the mountains or the lush green of the resort golf course.

Chefs make the most of local ingredients, from the resort's own herb garden, hand-picked nuts and figs and honey from on-site beehives, to create mouth-watering seasonal dishes that showcase a unique fusion of Cypriot flavours and Mediterranean classics.

The resort is part of protected Natura 2000 area, in the heart of a wine producing region, just 10 minutes drive outside the city of Paphos and 20 minutes drive to nearest beach. The resort is surrounded by quaint traditional villages, providing an authentic experience of Cyprus.
