The 4* Slaley Hall Hotel, formerly known as De Vere Slaley Hall, is built into an Edwardian Mansion that now holds 141 bedrooms, a selection of dining options and a great range of leisure facilities to help you unwind after a round of golf, notably the Slaley Hall Spa.
Slaley Hall Golf Club is the proud home of two fantastic championship standard golf courses, the Hunting and the Priestman. Both are of Championship standard and maintained to a very high level by the course staff. Slaley Hall has played host to no fewer than eight European Tour and Senior Tour events, proving once again that it is up there with the best golf resorts in England.

Slaley Hall Hotel has 135 bedrooms and 6 luxury suites all elegantly decorated, some retaining original features and providing a beautiful and spacious environment. Each classic double or twin room features an en-suite bath and shower, flat-screen TV with satellite, a radio, coffee and tea facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Many of the hotel rooms have views overlooking the courtyard and hotel grounds.

Slaley Hall golf is situated near Hexham, just 26 miles South West of Newcastle and easily accessible via the A1.

As well as Newcastle being a short drive away, nearby is the legendary Hadrian’s Wall and the stunning Northumbrian coastline. You can also go on glorious country walks and running paths.
Golf courses at Slaley Hall
Often regarded as the better course at Slaley Hall, the Hunting Course is kept in fantastic condition, and at more than 7,000-yards off the championship tees, the big hitters will have a slight advantage around this track. The David Thomas design uses the natural rolling land to produce an excellent test for all golfers. With a number of beautiful views across the surrounding moorland region.
The Priestman Course, despite being opened in 1999 holds its own at Slaley Hall. Set on higher land, there are numerous panoramic views of the Tyne Valley and beyond. This well-kept course is often regarded as second best compared to the Hunting Course, however, with an array on interesting holes, there is no doubt this course offers a great test of golf.
