Originally a wedding present commissioned for Lord Walsingham in 1865 for his daughter, Aldwark Manor Estate is found in lush parkland grounds not too far from the city of York. This 4-star venue oozes class and sophistication, with a brilliant golf course to match the luxury found in the hotel.
Each of the 54 rooms is individually decorated with a sophisticated Victorian allure, with traditionally styled four-poster beds and detailed furnishing. The rooms are split between the Manor House, offering the more traditional rooms, and the contemporary wing, which has plenty of style and glamour.

Dining options at Aldwark Manor Estate include The Brasserie Restaurant, which offers award-winning traditional French and British food, and the more casual Terrace Bar. Overlooking the first fairway at Aldwark Manor Estate, the Terrace Bar features BT Sport and a spacious, relaxing environment, suited to après golf. For a more formal drink, the Squadron Bar overlooks the 15th hole, perfect for pre and post-dinner drinks.

Aldwark Manor Golf Course
Situated in the enchanting area of Aldwark among the Vale of York, the par-72 Manor parkland course requires precision and accuracy on its tight narrow fairways. Beginning at a steady pace the course becomes more difficult further on as the trees that border the course come into play. Other obstacles include the River Ure which features in around six of the holes, creating a real tricky challenge. The practice facilities, short game area and pro-shop are excellent additions to this superb course.
