Close House has two golf courses onsite, both of which are endorsed by 'Attached Tour Professional' Lee Westwood. Both the Colt Course and the Filly Course bring their own unique challenges with the newer Colt Course paying tribute to Harry Colt.

The Lee Westwood Filly Course
Situated around the grounds of Close House Estate, with stunning views of the Tyne Valley, the Filly Course holds 18 USGA specification greens. The fantastic greens make the course a fun challenge for golfers with accuracy also being the key to a good score. Having held many PGA professional events in the past, the Filly Course is an exciting shorter length course compared to its sister Colt Course.
The Lee Westwood Colt Course
The Lee Westwood Colt Course was voted one of the top 100 courses in England and has now become the official venue for the British Masters. The championship course has welcomed some of golf’s greats over the years such as Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Martin Kaymer and of course Lee Westwood. The rectangular tee boxes, tour standard bunkers and variety of par-3's make this course enjoyable for all golfers.
