The course is spread across 275 acres of land next to La Vallee Des Coulers Nature Park in the south of Mauritius. Avalon Golf Course has quickly become one of the highest-ranked golf courses in Mauritius. Designed taking the South-East Trade Wind into consideration, all par 3’s and par 5’s play in differing directions, presenting the golfer with varying conditions. The 4th, a short par 4, is undoubtedly the highlight of this course. The elevated tee box boasts breathtaking views. Avoid the winding stream and dense vegetation in front of the fairway, and the ravine along the left side of the green, and you will have the opportunity to score well. Measuring over 6,900 yards from the championship tees, this par 72 layout demands a lot, even from the most skilled golfers.
