When you're not on the course

• See El Arco from the water - Sitting at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo’s famous Arch is one of the region’s most recognisable sights. Take a boat or sunset cruise from Cabo San Lucas Marina to see Land’s End and the surrounding coastline from the water.
• Go whale watching - If you’re travelling during the winter golf season, keep an eye on the ocean as well as the fairways. Migrating whales visit the waters around Los Cabos each year, with boat trips offering the chance to see them up close.
• Explore San José del Cabo - For a change of pace from the resorts and nightlife of Cabo San Lucas, spend some time in San José del Cabo. Its historic centre is filled with galleries, restaurants and colourful streets, with the seasonal Art Walk giving you another reason to visit in the evening.
• Head out into the Baja desert - You’ll see plenty of Cabo’s desert scenery from the golf course, but there are more adventurous ways to explore it. ATV tours, horse riding and hiking can take you further into the rugged landscapes surrounding the resorts.
• Spend a day on the Sea of Cortés - Snorkelling, diving, kayaking and sailing are all popular ways to experience Cabo away from dry land. Or, if you’d rather do very little at all, find a beach and enjoy a day away from the clubs.
• Experience Cabo San Lucas after dark - The marina and surrounding streets are the livelier side of Los Cabos, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. It’s ideal for groups looking for somewhere to continue the day after their final putt, or couples wanting an evening away from the resort.
