Khem Villas

Khem Villas defines itself as a ‘luxury jungle camp’ and was established by Usha and Goverdhan Singh Rathore along with Pritam Singh on the outskirts of Ranthambhore. Goverdhan is the son of Fateh Singh Rathore, who is one of India’s leading Tiger experts and is also aptly referred to as the founding father of Ranthambhore helping put the park on the Tiger Map of the World.

The Villas are built on grassland where indigenous trees have created a natural habitat for the local wildlife, including jackals, jungle cats, hyenas, desert fox, and crocodiles. And, it has also become a bird watcher's paradise.

The camp, which is in the Ranthambore Tiger reserve, is designed to provide peace and tranquillity within a luxurious and very personal atmosphere, which provides a beautiful stop for your India golf holiday.

Accommodation

Khem Villas offers three room choices. The cottages are spacious and secluded, finished with teak furniture. They feature an open-air bath and an outdoor shower, as well as a furnished patio area looking out into the gardens.

The luxury tents are a popular choice with families. Each one offers wooden floors, teak furniture, and a small terrace area with seating that looks out over the tiger reserve.

The property also has a handful of well-appointed double rooms in the main building, each with large bay windows looking out across the grounds. They are all spacious and tastefully decorated, with feature wooden floors and teak furniture.

Restaurant & Bars

Guests will experience a satisfying selection of Indian, Western and Oriental Cuisine at Khem Villas. All food served is vegetarian using freshly picked vegetables and herbs from the surrounding organic farms.

Khem Villas has a small spa, The Age Veda Spa where guests can connect with the local nature in body and in spirit. Take walks, go for a run, practice yoga, or simply relax in the verandas taking in the sunset and listening to the sounds of the forest.

The property also features a plunge pool that is filled with fresh water so guest can cool off from the sun.
