The North Course at Precise Resort El Rompido is the newer of the resort’s two layouts, designed by Álvaro Arana and opened in 2006. Often considered the more adventurous of the pair, the North Course winds through protected marshland and pine groves, offering both a challenging test of golf and spectacular natural scenery.

Known for its modern design and ecological harmony, the North Course makes use of the surrounding wetlands to create risk-and-reward holes that require careful strategy. With wide fairways, elevated tees, and dramatic views across the Río Piedras estuary, it has quickly become recognised as one of the top golf courses in Costa de la Luz.

Travel tip: The North Course can be breezier than the South due to its open marshland setting – pack extra clubs and be prepared for wind to play a factor.

Signature Holes

The 7th hole, a testing par-4, is one of the highlights of the front nine, demanding accuracy off the tee to avoid the natural hazards that border the fairway.

On the back nine, the par-5 16th is a true risk-and-reward hole, with marshland running along one side and a narrow green complex that challenges even experienced players.

Many golfers also remember the closing stretch for its panoramic views and the unique feeling of playing through untouched natural terrain.
