The course is fairly flat with areas of lakes, water-banks, and trees and is suitable for all types of player. Opened in 1993, it has been designated the best course on the Costa Brava several times. In addition, competitions and high-level tournaments have been held here, such as the Catalonia Open 95, the trials for the PGA Pre-Qualifying School and the Seniors Qualifying School.
