Golf Courses

Rockliffe Hall golf course is a 7879 yard Championship golf course designed by Marc Westenborg and Hawtree Ltd and is one of Europe’s longest golfing challenges. Golfers of all abilities can play with ease thanks to the five individual tee positions, so beginners to hardened tour professionals can enjoy the test provided by the lakes, wetland and woodland throughout the course.

Rockliffe Hall is a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of the County Durham countryside. It boasts 61 luxury bedrooms, an award-winning spa, and three beautiful restaurants, each using only the very best in locally sourced and fresh produce. Guests can enjoy the spa facilities including a gym, swimming pool, hydro pool, monsoon showers, thermal suite, outdoor hot tub, infra-red sauna, salt inhalation room and experience showers, or take a walk around the beautiful hotel grounds at Rockliffe Hall before retiring to a luxury hotel room to prepare for dinner.

Rockliffe Hall also offers that home away from home experience with The Woodland Mews Luxury Holiday Homes. Woodland Mews offers guests the chance to experience all the benefits of a golf and spa luxury resort, from the privacy and intimacy of their own four bedroom country home. Each house can comfortably accommodate six golfers in the four bedrooms which consist of two twins, one en-suite double and one single. The houses also have a lounge, modern kitchen/dining area, family bathroom and a private garden with patio furniture. They are located within the grounds of the resort approximately 100 yards from the main hotel.

Restaurant & Bars

Guests can enjoy a dining experience in one of three beautiful restaurants, from wholesome British classics in The Clubhouse, to a celebration of the finest seasonal ingredients in The Brasserie, to a dining experience of tastes, temperatures and textures in the flagship Orangery restaurant. You can then enjoy a tasty breakfast in The Clubhouse, before departing feeling wonderfully refreshed and ready to face the world…or another round of golf on Rockliffe Hall golf course!
