The course is perhaps best known for its brilliant greens, which are among the finest in the country.
Formed in 1892, the prestigious club has hosted a number of prestigious events, including the Irish Open in 2004 and 2009, the Irish Women’s Amateur Open, and R&A Open Qualifying. The course has been rated in Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses in the world as a ‘hidden gem’.
