Both cities present a different view of Vietnam. While Hoi An is the more tourist-driven area, Da Nang certainly shouldn’t be overlooked as there are many things to see and do in this coastal city. Due to the close proximity between the two, you can experience both places on your Vietnam golf holiday.
In the centre of Da Nang is the famous Dragon Bridge – a creature which symbolises good luck in Vietnam. At the weekend you can even enjoy a light show here where the dragon spits out fire. The Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills is also a must-see attraction. It’s worth noting that when visiting this area temperatures can drop by 10 degrees Celsius in comparison to Da Nang city centre.
For anyone with an adventurous streak, dedicate a day to climbing the Marble Mountains. Or if you enjoy soaking up the culture and history, then you could visit the Cham Museum or one of the temples in Hoi An, such as Phuc Kien or Quan Cong.
