Golf Course at Golf de Sainte-Maxime
The spectacular golf course at Golf de Sainte-Maxime was designed by Don Harradine, with fairways lined with cork oaks and wild heather. The terrain is relatively hilly, so a buggy is recommended – however the enviable views of Saint-Tropez and its stunning bay is a definite highlight. It is a technical course, so careful stroke play and a tactical approach is key.
The course measures in at 6557 yards and is spread over 150 acres of stunning undulating landscape in the Var countryside. Built in 1991, it features elevated tees and plenty of water hazards which marks the outward 9 holes leading towards the Sainte-Maxime clubhouse and Hotel Amarante Golf Plaza. The inward 9 holes provide a panoramic view of the majestic Maures and Esterel massifs.
