Golf Course at The Kendleshire Golf Club
Designed by Adrian Stiff, The Kendleshire Golf Club's original 18 holes opened for play in 1997 to widespread acclaim. Then, in 2002, Peter McEvoy added a further nine holes offering golfers increased variety. Whichever combination you play, The Badminton, The Ruffet & The Hollow courses provide an excellent challenge with water a prominent feature on all three. Listed by Golf World in 1998 as one of the top ten new courses in the British Isles, the longest combination of nines gives a 6,507 yard, par 70 layout. The Kendleshire is renowned for its high-quality greens and a number of spectacular holes including the short 11th which features an island green.
