Golf Course at Dundonald Links Golf Course
The excellent layout at Dundonald Links Golf Club sits in prime links land adjacent to Western Gailes with Glasgow Gailes to the north and Kilmarnock Brassie to the south. It has been hailed as an equal to Kingsbarns and unsurprisingly, was designed by superb golf course architect Kyle Phillips. A classic links, it has been recognised as one of the best new courses in the world. Phillips’ aim was to create a championship course that played and felt like an old rediscovered course and most observers believe he’s accomplished this. Previously known as Southern Gailes, this relatively new course looks as if it has been there for centuries, with each of the 18 holes offering a unique challenge.
