How many times can a friend use a refer-a-friend code when booking a trip?

An individual can only use a refer-a-friend code once, and that must be on their first ever booking with Golfbreaks. The referral code can only be used by first-time bookers and not by customers who have previously booked with Golfbreaks.

What reward do I get when I refer-a-friend, and what does my friend get?

Both you and your friend will get $150 worth of Golfbreaks gift vouchers when your friend books with Golfbreaks for the first time and uses your referral code. However, Golfbreaks may amend the value or type of reward at any point in the future.

When do my friend and I receive our rewards?

Accepted Answer

Both you (as the referrer) and your friend will receive your rewards 15 days before your friend departs for their golf trip. This is assuming that your friend used your refer-a-friend code when booking their golf trip.

Does my refer-a-friend code expire?

No, the refer-a-friend code does not expire. However, Golfbreaks may pause or amend the refer-a-friend scheme, and the codes used, at any point in the future.

Can I use my own refer-a-friend code when booking a trip for myself?

Accepted Answer

No, you are not eligible to use your own code, and receive a reward, when booking a golf trip with Golfbreaks.  You are also not eligible to use your code should you book a golf trip under a different name or contact details.

Can my immediate family members use my refer-a-friend code when booking their first trip and be rewarded?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only if you are not traveling as part of the group on that golf trip.

Can I go on a trip that my friend books using my referral code and be rewarded?

Accepted Answer

Yes, currently both you and your friend will be rewarded if you are part of the group on a trip that your friend books, as the lead organizer of the trip, and has used your referral code.

Are there any minimum package requirements for my friend's booking to be eligible for a refer-a-friend reward?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your friend's booking needs to be for at least 2 golfers and have a minimum package size of 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf, to be eligible for a refer-a-friend reward.
