Golfbreaks UK Pairs Events – How to enter and what to expect

Golfbreaks are excited to announce the launch of their new fun and inclusive pairs events on top-class golf courses at great value prices. There are fantastic prizes to be won across the series including a free golf trip to some of the world’s very best golf destinations up for grabs at every event!

Here’s a guide on how to enter and what to expect when you play in a Golfbreaks UK Pairs Event!

Pairs entry is straightforward and the same for any event you choose to play in. Simply go to the event schedule homepage, select the event you wish to enter and follow the checkout procedure on the page. At all events, you can either enter the WHS Handicap division, the Golfshake division or simply come along and play for fun!

When signing up for an event you will be asked for your preferences around starting time for your pair across the day. The Golfbreaks Events Team always endeavour to provide as close as possible on your tee time request which is emailed to you 10 days before the event date.

There are great prizes to be won for the top 6 pairs, together with live scoring, on-course competitions and a warm welcome from the Golfbreaks Events Team!

Head into the clubhouse where you will be greeted by the Golfbreaks Events Team at our registration desk. We advise that you register with the team no later than 30-minutes before your tee time so you can get set up on the Golf Genius app, receive your scorecards and be talked through any local rules.

Practice facilities at all our events are available to participants, so feel free to get some vital last-minute practice in before your round. Information on range tokens will be sent prior to the event day.

All of the host venues are delighted to be holding the events and are making a special effort to ensure the course is in fantastic condition to ensure good play goes rewarded.

Get to the 1st tee 5 minutes before your tee time where you will be welcomed by the starter who will go on to explain the format, the local course rules and highlight the fun competitions out on the course. Every event is the same format – Better Ball Pairs Stableford.

When you’re out on the course, enjoy it! Take comfort in the fact that it pairs so you can go for all your shots knowing that if things don’t go your way on some holes, your partner could be there to pick up the points for the team score – it's all about the dovetail! We have marshals out on the course to ensure that the round is played at an enjoyable pace for all. And make sure you smile whilst holding your follow-through, for when the Golfbreaks photographer pays you a visit!

Out on the course, you will receive a warm welcome from the Golfbreaks Events Team who hand out refreshments and be sure to watch out for the longest drive and nearest to the pin competitions for your chance to win more prizes!

With the round completed and the birdie show over for another day, simply complete the scoring on the Golf Genius App and then choose to go home or enjoy a well-earned drink inside or outside the clubhouse.

With the events stretching across a full day’s tee sheet, the Golfbreaks Events Team provide a final leaderboard within 24 hours of the final pair completing their round. The time allows for all winner’s handicaps to be thoroughly checked for authenticity and any queries to be resolved. All prize winners will be contacted by the Golfbreaks Events Team to be informed on what they’ve won and how to redeem their prize.
