Experience true championship golf on a Sweden golf holiday
Sweden has produced great golfers throughout the years as well as designing some of the best golf courses in Continental Europe. Opened in 2010 by Peter Hanson, the PGA National of Sweden Lakes Course is a modern classic and as the name suggest features a number of lakes among other hazards.
Falsterbo is Sweden’s second best golf course and when you play there, it’s easy to see why. This links course is as good as they come with tall grasses making up the rough and sand-based fairways that are a dream to hit from. You will be openly exposed to the elements with the sea breeze coming on from several different points of the course.
The Masters Course at Barseback Golf & Country Club is a brilliant championship layout that is consistently ranked among the best in Sweden. A previous host of European Tour events, the holes carve their way through pinewood forests making some of the fairways appear quite tight. However, you will eventually lead out onto open land where views of the sea reveal themselves and on a clear day, Denmark can be seen in the distance.
