Golf Courses
A standout feature of Legends Golf Resort is its collection of four outstanding golf courses, each designed to offer a unique and exhilarating challenge:
-
Moorland Course - Designed by P.B. Dye, the Moorland Course is considered one of the best layouts in Myrtle Beach. It blends bold, elevated greens with dramatic bunkering and natural hazards, creating a course that’s as visually stunning as it is challenging. Its links-style characteristics and undulating terrain offer a thrilling test for seasoned players.
-
Heathland Course - A Tom Doak masterpiece, the Heathland Course draws inspiration from traditional British and Irish links courses. With wide fairways, subtle contours, and minimal tree coverage, this layout invites strategic play and rewards creativity. It’s a favourite among golfers who appreciate a classic, open layout reminiscent of St Andrews and other iconic coastal courses.
-
Parkland Course - As the name suggests, the Parkland Course offers a more traditional American-style layout, with tree-lined fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and strategically placed water features. It combines playability with beauty and provides a well-balanced round that suits players of all skill levels.
-
Oyster Bay Golf Links - Located just a short drive north of the main resort in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Oyster Bay is a legendary coastal course known for its beautiful marshland views and risk-reward design. Designed by Dan Maples, the course is famed for its undulating greens, water-laced fairways, and island par-3 holes that challenge even the most accurate shot-makers.
Each course delivers a different style of play, ensuring no two rounds are ever the same, making Legends ideal for longer stays or multi-round packages.
