Originally opened in 1989 as an 18-hole course and later expanded, the club now features three distinctive nine-hole loops - San Pedro, Ronda, and Guadaiza - that can be combined to form several 18-hole configurations, offering variety and replay value.

The golf course at La Quinta Golf & Country Club is truly superb. Designed by Manuel Pinero (three times World Champion and winner of the Ryder Cup) and Antonio Garcia Garrido, La Quinta has been implemented around three 9 hole golf courses, San Pedro, Ronda and Guadaiza, each permitting various combinations for playing 18 holes.

This golf course is very adaptable so is well suited to all standards of golfer. Although a seemingly straightforward golf course, there are deep bunkers and sloping fairways which create some difficulty and this course does require accuracy and stamina.

Clubhouse & amenities

La Quinta’s clubhouse offers full resort-style facilities, including a pro shop, bar, and restaurant with outdoor terrace views over the golf valley, and services such as club rental, buggy hire, and practice areas. Signature loop

While not a single signature hole stands universally above the rest, the Guadaiza loop (C course) - often used as the back nine in tournament configurations - is widely regarded as the most challenging, with exciting changes in elevation and dogleg layouts that test course management and shot precision.
