La Cala America is one of the most enjoyable golf courses in the region. The exciting landscape has you playing from elevated tees, across cavernous carries and negotiating fantastically undulating fairways.
La Cala Asia Golf Course
Built in the mountainous landscape of the region, the Asia Course at La Cala Golf is an interesting layout where the focus is predominantly on the approach shots. The course is tight and challenging, but a good test of visitors to La Cala Resort.
Alhaurin Golf Course
With an array of pine trees and hazards, Alhaurin Golf Course tests players course management. Designed by Seve Ballesteroes, workability is required to keep a good score round this course.
Calanova Golf Club
Calanova Golf Course is a par-72 parkland golf course set amongst the beautiful Mijas Sierra. It is extremely open, with gorgeous views over the sea and is free from hidden hazards so doesn’t penalise errant shots.
Chaparral Golf Club
This superb parkland course was designed by Pepe Gancedo. Practically every hole overlooks the sea, with undulating terrain and native pine trees ensuring a great variety of holes and challenges.
Cabopino Golf Course
Situated in the hills above the marina, players are forced to use all their clubs with umbrella pines around the fairways making accuracy a requirement. The large greens are kept in excellent condition, making this a great Marbella course to play.
La Cala Europa Golf Course
La Cala Europa is probably the most forgiving of the three golf courses at La Cala with its wide, spacious fairways and grander greens. Also, not to mention the fact that it’s easier to walk around than the other two courses at the golf club.
