A wide range of courses can be incorporated into your itinerary. While visiting the Drakensberg Mountains and Durban, guests can play fantastic courses such as Leopard Creek and Durban Country Club. Guests will also have the opportunity to play Oubaai golf course, a fantastic Ernie Els-designed course situated on the Garden Route.

Accommodation

72 Guests can be accommodated in two categories of comfortable en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, while the vintage carriages hark back to a simpler, more elegant era encompassing the high romance of African exploration.

The two types of cabins are refined and spacious, offering passengers privacy and comfort with double or twin beds, and fittings and facilities of the highest standard. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms with double-headed power shower, toilet and basin, tea and coffee facilities, (Emerald only) safes, air-conditioning and amenities, and are serviced daily.

Restaurant & Bars

Breakfast and evening meals are eaten in the attractive Edwardian-period style dining carriage.

On Site Activities

The open-air Observation balcony carriage allows guests to explore the exquisiteness of South Africa whilst in the comfort of the train.
