PGA Centenary Course overview
With five tee positions available on the PGA Centenary Golf Course, the track varies from 5,065 to 7,081 yards in length, making it one of the longest golf courses in inland Scotland from the back tees. Nicklaus designed this course using the best of his earlier experiences in course architecture to create a real gem. Describing the course as 'the finest parcel of land in the world that he had ever been given to work with, rarely do you find yourself not taken back when playing the course.
The estate is the most well-known due to hosting the 2014 Ryder Cup and 2019 Solheim Cup which saw Europe emerge victorious.The PGA Centenary also hosts the Johnnie Walker Classic each year, a testament to Nicklaus’ outstanding design and imagination.
Signature Holes
When playing the PGA Centenary there isn't a hole that disappoints. The 5th hole is a particularly memorable par 4, a long par four called 'Crookit Cratur'. The design will require good ball shaping with a well guarded green. Another signature is the 618 yard par 5 monster called Crook O'Moss which contains a large water hazard and multiple bunkers.
