Astbury Golf Club overview

Astbury Golf Club provides a stellar course located in the picturesque Shropshire countryside. This hidden gem of a golf course is ideal for golfers of all abilities, however, can provide a challenge with its USGA standard greens and thick rough which features throughout.

The golf club has a lovely clubhouse with changing rooms as well as a well-equipped pro shop with all the necessary essentials. There is also a pitching/chipping area, putting green and golf buggies available.

Golf course overview

The par 71 is an open parkland course that offers golfers a memorable round of golf with natural features, tactically placed bunkers and beautifully manicured playing surfaces. The course plays 6,517 yards and is ideal for all abilities with four tee boxes to play from. Take on the well-manicured fairways which require accuracy of the tee. The parkland also features many different elevation changes so you can see across the course as well as taking in the beautiful views of the Shropshire countryside.

Signature Holes

There is a handful of great holes to choose from when playing Astbury golf course, however, the signature hole is the 8th hole which is a 380-yard par 4. Not the hardest hole on the course, however, it definitely provides the best view of the beautiful countryside. Bunkers are placed on the fairway and your approach shot is to a tricky green but is a brilliant hole.
