Golf Courses
Two large lakes and views of the Monchique mountains are the headline features of Alamos Golf Course. Alamos provides a delighftul variety of holes. The fairways are generally tight and the course is cleverly protected by native trees - you certainly need your thinking cap on to tame this beast. Comparisons will inevitabily be made between Alamos and its sister course Morgado. Morgado has larger greens, which places demand on good putting skills, and deep Scottish-inspired bunkers. The course may look tough but it plays fair.
Accommodation
The hotel offers fantastic value for money. There are 98 luxury rooms, 16 Standard Rooms, 52 Superior Rooms, 25 Deuxe Rooms and 5 Duplex rooms (88 sqm). With modern décor and some luxurious touches, all rooms have sweeping views over the Morgardo Golf Course. Every room is equipped with a safe, telephone, hairdryer, air conditioning and LCD flat-screen TV’s with satellite channels.
Restaurant & Bars
The main Restaurant serves a continental buffet breakfast to fuel your day. Buffet selections of traditional local foods or international cuisine can be enjoyed for lunch and dinner. The great ambience and atmosphere makes this a fantastic place for an after-golf drink.

NAU Morgado Golf hotel is a 20-minute drive from the centre of Portimao and a 50-min drive to Faro airport.
On Site Activities
With two full size swimming pools and a further two shallow pools for children, this is an ideal family friendly venue. If you intend to bring your family there is an entertainment programme at the kids club and a variety of shows at night which are on-site. If you wish to be adventurous during your golf break you can choose to explore the area by bike, with available rental on-site.
Nearby
NAU Morgado Golf & Country Club is very accessible as it is less than an hour drive away from Faro airport and if you wish to explore the surrounding area, you can head to Monchique, Portimao or Alvor. The three traditional Portuguese towns are a short taxi ride away and also have great restaurants and bars.
If this isn’t enough for you than it is an extra 10 minutes away to Albufeira which has a great nightlife and plenty of well-known beaches.
Álamos Golf
Situated North of Portimao, Alamos belies its age is and is a great addition to the Algarve coast. It boasts superb views over the local reservoir and vineyards, but don’t be fooled by its idyllic surroundings. Its tight, tree-lined fairways require the utmost concentration, while the few and far between bunkers are well placed to catch any stray shots. Couple this with smaller greens than its sister course (Morgado) and you have the challenge to meet all standards of golfer.
